Rammstein have never been a band for conforming to social norms, so it’s hardly surprising that those stiff collars in the German Music Industry have decided to pull the bands latest album over it’s ‘sadistic’ cover art.
Only one problem for the Germans though…. The album is already at number two on Billboard's European Albums Chart, so I’m pretty certain that there are a lot of kids with it on their shelves.
Whilst authorities in Rammstein's native Germany have ordered all record suppliers to pull it from displays from 11 November, we will still be playing it in the FF office, because quite frankly, Rammstein are rock’s very own Lady GaGa, and if she can get away with pouring poison into her man’s drink in the video for Paparazzi, then we’re sure we can cope with a bit of German suggestiveness.
If the bigwigs in Germany think a picture of a masked, naked woman on guitarist Richard Kruspe's lap is indecent and harmful to children, they should check out the video for their single 'Pussy.’
