An artistic tribute to Kurt Cobain has opened in the late rocker's native Seattle, Washington.
Kurt opened at the Seattle Art Museum on Monday and features almost 80 multi-media works inspired by the tragic Nirvana star.
Items include a display from visual artist Rodney Graham, movies from filmmaker Douglas Gordon, and photographs of Cobain taken by Seattle photographer Alice Wheeler.
Museum curator Michael Darling says, "Most of the works date from 1994 and after, clearly suggesting that Kurt's death motivated these artists, and so many others, to come to terms with his legacy."
Cobain committed suicide in 1994.
