Whilst I was busy painting my nails last night, some of the hottest musicians on the face of the earth gathered in London for the most exciting awards show in the rock music calendar.
Don’t worry though, I’m not bitter about not getting a invitation, oh no, I’m just happy everyone had a good time. *Ahem.*
It was Slipknot who were the real successes of the evening, bagging themselves the gong for Best Live Act and Best International band at the ceremony. Elsewhere, Metallica were rewarded for their efforts on Death Magnetic as the took home the Best Album gong, whilst The Prodigy scooped Best Single for 'Omen' and The Gaslight Anthem walked away with Best International Newcomer.
My favourites, Linkin Park were lucky enough to grab the Classic Songwriter gong, whilst Fred Durst and his friends in Limp Bizkit were also honoured with the Hall Of Fame prize.
If you missed the party though, the full list of winners are below, but do you agree?
