Green Day fans look set for a real value-for-money treat when the punk trio hits the road this year, as frontman Billie Joe Armstrong wants to play whopping four-hour concerts.
The American Idiot hitmakers are preparing to tour to promote new album 21st Century Breakdown, which was released on Friday - and their shows are likely to be long affairs.
Armstrong was inspired by Bruce Springsteen, who has put on mammoth five-hour shows in the past - and he wants Green Day to rival the Born In The U.S.A. singer by performing for "anywhere from two to four hours."
He tells FemaleFirst, "We want to give Springsteen a run for his money. I think his longest show is maybe five hours, I think Green Day's got six!"
