In support of the ABC Trust (Action for Brazil’s Children Trust), iconic guitarist and founding member of Queen Brian May, who is also a Patron of the charity, will offer a unique, money-can’t-buy opportunity as part of the exclusive charity auction which takes place this April.
For the first time in his career, Brian May has offered two hours of his time to one lucky winner, who will receive a two hour, one-on-one guitar lesson from the legendary musician.
This very special opportunity is a fantastic addition to the unique guitars being customised for A Força da Rua (Force of the Street), an exclusive contemporary street art project bringing together some of the finest artists from Brazil and the UK, including D*Face, Inkie, Titi Freak, Kid Acne, Remi/Rough, Will Barras, Pure Evil, Ramon Martins, Daniel Melim, Tinho, Speto and Calma.
Each artist will create a unique piece of art that will help raise funds and awareness for Brazil’s most vulnerable children, and in addition, Brazilian band CSS’s leading lady Lovefoxx will also create a specially customised guitar which will be auctioned as part of the project at a high profile VIP charity art auction at the Cuckoo Club on 29 April.
Gibson Guitar - a long time supporter of the ABC Trust charity - have donated some of their most iconic guitars including Les Paul, Melody Maker, Flying V and SG - to be customised. These will then be exhibited at theprintspace gallery on Kingsland Road, along with a selection of other specially commissioned artworks and limited edition prints.
