Poison front man Bret Michaels has defended his collaboration with Miley Cyrus - after the song's sexually-charged lyrics reportedly caused outrage in the U.S.
The Hannah Montana star contributed vocals to Nothin' To Lose, a track from the rocker's upcoming record Custom Built.
The duet allegedly sparked complaints when it aired on radio stations in the States earlier this month - but Michaels insists the raunchy lyrics are not a reference to the 17-year-old singer.
He says, "It's (been) blown out of proportion. The part where (it goes) 'She slowly gets undressed' has no reference to Miley and I. I just thought it was a beautiful song and everyone's going nuts!"
