Biffy Clyro’s ascent into rock’s premier league continues with the news that they will follow their current sold-out UK tour with an even bigger run of dates in November and December.
The autumn tour sees the trio stepping into the role of arena headliners for the first time and includes a date at London’s Wembley Arena.
The newly confirmed tour runs as below:
November
25th – Aberdeen, AECC
26th – Glasgow, SECC
29th – Hull, Arena
30th – Nottingham, Arena
December
1st – Plymouth, Pavilions
3rd – Manchester, Central
4th – London, Wembley Arena
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday April 30th and are priced at £22.50 for London and £20 for all regional dates.
The band’s current tour commences on Thursday with a show at Perth’s Concert Hall before concluding at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on May 6th. In between the two tours, the band will hit the summer festival circuit with appearances at Reading, Leeds, T in the Park and Isle of Wight already confirmed.
Biffy Clyro’s current album ‘Only Revolutions’ debuted in the Top 10 and has since sold 250,000 copies in the UK alone. 2010 has also seen them collect their first ever NME Award for Best Video for the single ‘The Captain.’
