Anthrax frontman Dan Nelson has left the group, forcing it to cancel its European tour.
The news comes a week after the group axed three concerts, claiming Nelson was suffering from a mystery illness.
A further seven European dates have also been axed, and the thrash metallers have been forced to skip plans for a U.S. tour with Slipknot this summer.
Speaking after his departure, Nelson has lashed out at his former band mates, insisting they lied about his sickness and accusing them of forcing him out of the group. He tells FemaleFirst he was "ready, willing and able" to continue with the band.
Anthrax will be performing one date this summer - former lead singer John Bush, who Nelson replaced in 2007, has agreed to rejoin the band for one gig at England's Sonisphere Festival on 1 August.
