With his dashing looks, charm and charisma, MOBO-award nominated soul icon Nate James is back with a bang, luring ladies with what’s sure to be the smash hit of 2012, 'Back Foot'.
Since he sprung to the critic’s attention with his debut hit 'Set The Tone', Nate James has risen to become one of the most successful independent recording artists around the world.
Past accolades include being crowned 'Best Soul Artist' at the Kickers Urban Music Awards, and 'Best International Act' at the Italian Festivalbar Awards. His second album 'Kingdom Falls' was also nominated for 'Best Album' at the UMAs.
Nate James, originally from Woodbridge in Suffolk, has played across the world - headlining festivals and gigs in Italy, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Poland, France & Japan.
He has toured with and supported some of the biggest names in the business - Amy Winehouse, Corrine Bailey Rae and John Legend to name a few, as well as being asked to perform alongside the likes of Simply Red, Katie Melua, Musiq Soulchild, Alexander O’Neil, Beverley Knight and Natasha Beddingfield.
Nate isn’t short of the odd celebrity phone number in his address book either, sighting the likes of Adele, Alan Carr and the lads from Blue as just a few of his showbiz friends.
‘Back Foot’ sees Nate team up with Manchester based double act HeavyFeet. HeavyFeet are currently stomping their sound across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the U.S, as part of their sonic world tour imprinting all things breaks and bass, via their energetic two-man DJ performance.
Having completed high profile remixes for the likes of Skepta, Roisin Murphy and DJ Zinc, HeavyFeet’s team up with Nate combines their musical prowess to cement 'Back Foot' as a sure fire hit.
