The Black Eyed Peas have doubled up on the U.S. charts after debuting their new album THE E.N.D. at number one.

Last week, the band scored a ninth week at the top of the pop charts with the single Boom Boom Pow and now they've landed their first number one album with their best sales week ever.

Their last release, 2005's Monkey Business, bowed at two behind Coldplay's X&Y.

Last week's number one, Dave Matthews Band's Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, slips to two on the new chart and Eminem's Relapse falls a spot to number three. Sammy Hagar's supergroup Chickenfoot claims the number four spot, while Latin quartet Aventura enters the Billboard 200 at number five with Last.
