The Black Eyed Peas can give themselves a pat on the back after their pop chart comeback has earned the group its first U.S. number one.
Boom Boom Pow will officially be crowned the Billboard Hot 100's top song on Thursday, but that’s not all… the track also lands the band a new single-week and debut download record for a group - their 465,000 sales beats the haul of previous record holders Coldplay, who set the mark with Viva La Vida last summer.
Rapper Flo Rida holds the overall download record - his Right Round debuted with 636,000 downloads in February.
Looks like the battle is well and truly on!
