Burning like a Fever is a brilliant atmospheric taste of what’s to come for this five-piece band. Death By Sexy is made up of Frontman Jimmy Sweet from LA and four Londoners, Charis, Bleina, Hazel and Sarah. The band name was inspired by the album title Death By Sexy by Eagles Of Death Metal.
A double A-side single Burning Like A Fever/ Lady Low will be released on the 2nd of September and will be available on limited edition 7” vinyl and digital download. Burning like a Fever will also be featured in the forthcoming movie The Powder Room; this band is definitely placing themselves on the music map.
Burning like a Fever is a distinctive glam-meets-garage influenced rock track. The melody is sweet, yet sultry with soft guitar tones, foot-step drum beats and synth. Part sleazy, part sexy, this is the way to describe the sound of Death By Sexy.
The two parts of the new single are the perfect introduction to the band. With live dates being put in place for a UK tour later in the year and a series of releases ready to be unveiled, this four-piece are firmly becoming more than just the ones to watch.
