Four-piece English band French-Soler formed in 2006 after brothers Ben (vocals) and Ross (guitar) recruited friends Daniel Soler (bass) and Andrew Lindsay (drums.)
Their first self-titled album was released in 2010 which featured three successful single Stop and Stare, Lies and The Cult of Romance.
They now release the first track off their upcoming album titled Last Forever is a perfect song for the summer. Buoyant and bold the song is riddled with catchy hooks and intricate melodies. The song is a perfect blend of electro-funk, punchy techno and anthem pop.
The video is definitely something worth watching, a beautifully shot glimpse into the amazing life of the family of Jamaican surf legend Billy Wilmot.
Featuring stunning surfing footage from the shores surrounding Kingston, the video centres on Billy’s 15-year-old son Ivah who is striving to follow in his father’s footsteps as one of his nation’s leading surfers.
Mixmag have already had a listen to their new album Rituals and they describe it as ‘their best album yet.’
