Leona Lewis has hopped onto the Christmas album creation train, and put together a blend of both original material and covers of classics for her festive offering.
With vocals that manage to stun still to this day, it's a wonder why Leona's career seemed to slowly fizzle out after such a brilliant beginning and global takeover.
If this album proves anything, it's that her talent is still incomparable and that if you want anybody to be singing you Christmas songs, it should be Leona.
'Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)' is a fantastic and uplifting take on the original, and the brand new 'Mr Right' takes influence from Mariah, with Lewis hoping to only find the perfect man under her Christmas tree this year.
'O Holy Night' and 'Silent Night' get the job done with some fantastic vocals, but it's 'Ave Maria' that truly stuns - Leona is unrecognisable, and if you thought her voice couldn't sound any better - you'd be wrong.
She's absolutely encroaching on Mariah Carey vocal territory, and with a bit of luck, she'll be given the success she deserves and a second wind for her career.
'Christmas, With Love' is available now.
