Kid Karate 'Lights Out'
A lot of noise would be one way to describe Kid Karate's EP debut.
After a successful debut US tour and performances at the Irish festival circuit, the pair now have their sights set on cracking Europe.
Currently nearing the end of their UK tour, Kevin Breen (vocalist) and Steven Gannon (drummer) are hoping to impress fans of alt-rock with the four-track record 'Lights Out'.
Riffs, wails and primal drumming add a gritty, raw feeling to the duo who have no problem in creating a thundering and huge kind of rock and roll.
'Heart' is a special track with an unusually soft opening that leads to the thrashing you'll come to expect.
So yes, they may be 'a lot of noise', but it's not the type that'll have you changing CDs.
'Lights Out' is out October 7.
