Tracey Browne has already won over critics and fans with her fantastic debut album Everyone Is Ordinary - which is a record that you really should check out if you have not heard it yet.
But this week she is back with her latest single River City - which is one of them gems from the debut album.
The acoustic guitar kicks off this track before Browne’s beautiful vocals kick in what is a simple and yet stunning track.
There is a real emotion to this track as well as poetic element to both the words and the way that Browne delivers them.
There is also a truth and a realness in all of her music and that is what makes her so exciting as both a singer and a songwriter.
There are more produced tracks on the album but the acoustic nature of River City really does fit well with her vocal.
The range of instrumentation of the track is perfect as is gives the track a little more depth as well as it being more interesting than just a guitar.
River City is one of the eleven stunning tracks that are on her album and River City is a perfect introduction to the rest of the record.
