The Robbie Boyd Band have been making quite a name for themselves on the live scene in the last twelve months but I Won’t Let You Go is their first single release.
I Won’t Let You Go is the first track to be lifted off their debut album Autumn’s Flown, which will be released later this summer.
And it’s not hard to see why to see they have been creating a stir with their live performances as I Won’t Let You Go is a really uplifting and catchy track.
Front man Robbie may be singing about love and relationships but his very distinctive vocal really does make this track so much more.
This simplistic song writing is straightforward and yet so powerful - I can’t emphasise just how great a track this is.
But it’s not just Robbie’s vocals that make this track so memorable as the kooky arrangements and harmonies really do bring it to life.
Yes there is a real folk sound to this track but there is also a very contemporary feel to it as well and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the album.
