Goldie Lookin Chain – Everybody is a DJ
For a band who are famed for swearing, there is nowhere near enough profanity in this track! I mean, it's standard GLC.. And that's not a band thing, we like them.
To be honest though, I don’t see this song being anywhere nears a big as their MASSIVE hit, Guns Don’t Kill People… Rapper Do… probably due to the lack of profanity… definitely good, but could have benefited from a couple of explicative’s.
If it came on when I was on a night out I would probably remain where I was and not go and shake it on the dance floor… I might give a little nod of the head, just in approval, as if to say ‘ah yes’ but I wouldn’t dance.
And our final word…. It doesn't have the same profound commentary on society as the classic' your mother's got a penis.
