I've gotta hand it to Scouting For Girls to come up with the super original idea of writing a song about people who want to be famous, but they could have done it with a teeny bit more effort.
Don't get me wrong, I like singing along to SFG when I've had too many glasses of wine at the local nightspot and bang my foot on the dancefloor whilst spinning around and messing up my hair with one hand (that’s what cool indie kids do right?) but this extent of 'Famous' people in this song is just a little baffling.
Okay, so they croon about James Dean and Bette Davies before leading into the ever so effective chorus of; "We all want... We all want to be famous."
It gets worse though, they seem to take a pop at Katie Price as well as they warble; "I can't act, I can't dance, I can't sing, can't you see / But I'm young and I'm pretty and that's all you need".
Hmm, I bet it still makes it into the Top 5 though.
