Kid Cudi Vs Crookers - Day ‘N’ Nite

I know this review is going to ruffle a few feathers, so before you begin, please remember that it’s my opinion, on obviously isn’t going to be the same everyone’s… so if you do find yourself disagreeing then probably best to take a chill pill and go and relax a little bit.

So, I’ve been hearing this track a lot on the radio recently, and I’m 100% sure it’s going to be a massive hit in Clubland, especially when it who ‘rave’ scene is thriving on tracks like this one at the moment.

The song itself is your regular club tune, although when you buy the single, you’re not treated to one, two or three versions of the song, but ten! Wow, now if that isn’t value for money I don’t know what is.

There’s the radio edit, a club mix, a ‘Bimbo Jones Vocal remix’ and several other remixes as well as the ‘original mix’ which I actually prefer to the club mix; it‘s more of a R n B version of the song rather than the dance versions that dominate the rest of the CD, it‘s sort of the ‘comedown‘ track after the highs of the others.

Haha, Look at me pretending I can tell the difference between 10 versions of the same song.

Anyway, so now I have to admit, it doesn’t really do it for me, much to the disappointment to the rest of the FemaleFirst office who can’t get enough of the track. I think it’s the ‘boing boing’ noise that reminds me of the sound Teletubbie La La’s ball makes when she bounces it on the ground.

But then again, with Kanye West, Pete Tong and Alex Zane championing the track, it must have something pretty good in there; either that or their being paid hefty bribes.
