Fake Problems - The Dream Team

Fake Problems - The Dream Team

The Dream Team is just one of the exciting songs to emerge from the forthcoming album from Fake Problems which is released on March 16.

At the start of the track, I think I’m listening to a crazy new hillbilly band featuring My Chemical Romance’s father-to-be Gerard Way until they start whining about wanting to be “the American Dream.” which for some reason, I don’t think MCR really do.

The song itself is a great upbeat little number, great for getting your dancing shoes onto and after a bottle of wine I can really see myself barn dancing around my local with this on the CD player.

Okay, so it’s not exactly my cup of tea, but then again, as many of my critics frequently point out, I know very little about music when I slag off their favourite band… but I know everything when I praise them.

Fake Problems

So without wanting to sound like your new best friend, or worst enemy, I will say that it’s a great track for people who love everything else that Fake Problems have offered up, yet, for someone who likes Girl Aloud or (at the other end of the scale) someone like Slipknot; I think this is one to give a miss.

It’s perfect for creating an uplifting mood with your girlfriends when all other forms of entertainment have died a sad death and for people who as thriving off the ‘out there’ Indie bands of the moment then this is a 100% winner and a must-have for your music library.

Lets just see what the full album has to offer… knowing me I’ll do a complete 360 and they’ll become my new favourite band! They do have the potential - that cowbell assisted chant at around 1.30min is a killer.

Rating 3.5/5 - Perfect for people needing a bit of musical motivation in their day.
