First off, this track opens with an almost identical hook to the Black Eyed Peas’ ‘I Gotta Feeling’, but sadly the rest of the dish really fails to deliver.
I am a big fan of David Guetta so I really expected more from him… well, that said, the sort of DJ mixing bits on this song are pretty swell, it’s just when the record sounds like it’s been played backwards and LMFAO starts droning on that he’s wants to; “Party, and party, and party, and party” that I feel like chucking the CD out of the window.
Fergie, as always brings a great vocal to the record, and it was probably her idea to try and pass this single off as ‘I Gotta Feeling Mark II’ in the hope of keeping some feet on the dance floor when it’s belted out for the first time down your local nightsort.
Whilst I’d love to say that I like this song, I just can’t. I love David and I’m sure it’s going to do MASSIVLY well on the club scene, but it’s just not my cup of tea.
