Brakes return with track Hey Hey
While the Brighton boys have been off writing a new album, they've undergone a bit of a makeover. With a new label and new, improved tracks they're ready to relaunch themselves in 2009.
Hey Hey slaps you instantly with rock euphoria, and continues to do so for the next two minutes. If ever a song embodied the rockclub dance-floor, then this would be it.
Nothing says fun, like these guys. Their brazen cheek and ability to take the mick out of themselves is precisly why we love them. Hey Hey is two minutes away from the worries in the world, where nothing matters but dancing like a loon and singing at the top of your lungs.
The band are at the top of their game at the moment and successes they've had in the past are likely to be matched with this single.
It's already a favourite on radio stations with with fans including Radio 1's Colin Murray and 6 Music's Marc Riley, so it won't be long before Hey Hey is everywhere.
