Ashley Tisdale - It's Alright, It's Okay
Until listening to this CD, the only memories i had of Ashley Tisdale is her spellbinding performance of Humuhumunukuapua'a in High School Musical 2 which left me totally left for words.
But as she tries to carve herself a name in the music industry, it's only fair we forget her comedic performances alongside Zac Efron and give herself a chance to prove herself as the next Kelly Clarkson.
So we might be a little quick to judge her as another actress trying to make themselves into a singer, but to be quite honest, this single isn’t half bad… okay, so it’s a little Jonas Brothers meets Kelly Clarkson meets S Club 7 but somehow, crikey, it seems to work.
Claiming to love rock music, she does manage to grab the usual pretty girl attempt at punk-rock attitude with this single, and I have no doubt that it is poised to be a summer anthem, in my car at the very least… but I wouldn’t quite think she’s ‘rock’ enough for Download festival just yet.
