I was worried that Fyfe Dangerfield might always be known for 'She's Always A Woman' ever since he was picked to accompany that TV advert, but whilst the track will remain in people's memory for a time, I think the more you listen to Fly Yellow Moon, the more you appreciate his talent.
The latest release from the record is double A side single Barricades / She Needs Me, a great pairing as both show off unique sides to Fyfe. Barricades is yet another simplistic love song which you cant help but listen to, and dream that there was a half decent man out there who would think about you just as much as you think about him… we all know he doesn't exist, but at least Mr Dangerfield can make some cash off our dream eh?
She Needs Me is a more up tempo, almost jazz-rock number which screams The Killers in parts, but it's okay, because it gives Fyfe the chance to bob around and put a little smile on that gorgeous face of his during the video… we likes smiles here at FemaleFirst, and gorgeous faces too.
Check out both the videos below and let us know what you think.
