Camden's historic Electric Ballroom was earmarked in 2005 for demolition to make way for a grand new underground station. Artists, celebrities, residents and lovers of the entire Camden scene have all spoken out against it, and tonight, Stereophonics prove that the iconic venue still has a purpose.

Since finishing their last proper tour in Newcastle last year, and having performed at smaller venues, the 'Phonics continued the trend at the Electric Ballroom. This time though, exclusively to members of their website.

Opening with 'Bright Red Star', Kelly and the crew took a back seat, sharing the limelight with two leotard-and-feather clad female dancers. Although looking fairly out of place performing in front of a rock band, the two do well and is a nice change.

Following up with 'Innocent', 'Bartender And The Thief' and classic 'A Thousand Trees', the band show that despite only playing a handful of shows recently, they're still as tight as ever.

Later, Stereophonics went on to perform 'More Life In A Tramp's Vest', 'Superman', 'Vegas Two Times', 'Mr. Writer', 'I Wouldn't Believe Your Radio', 'Have A Nice Day', 'I Got Your Number', 'Could You Be The One?', 'Bank Holiday Monday', '100MPH', 'Pick A Part That's New', 'Trouble', 'Just Looking', 'Local Boy In The Photograph'.

In the encore, Kelly Jones played 'Maybe Tomorrow' solo, before being joined by the others to finish with 'Traffic', and then 'Dakota'. Next is a special afternoon show at Cardiff Castle in early October, to be followed by their new album Keep Calm And Carry On in November.
