The gorgeous Attack! Attack!

Attack! Attack! Are already halfway into their set when I saunter into the room, and as I’ve only been listening to their CD (on repeat!) for 24 hours, I am quite excited to see what’s left of my new favourite band.

The room isn’t full yet as not all of the Funeral For A Friend emo kids have made it inside yet (they’re probably still changing out of their school uniforms.) so I have a clear view of the four little hotties as they bounce around the stage.

I’m not sure how long they have been on but they seem to have limitless energy inside them and are obviously keen to poach some of the FFAF fans who might not have seen or heard of them before. And they don’t half do it.

Singer Neil Starr’s vocals are just as good as on their debut album - which is out on November 3 (great plug there… I should be getting commission for this!) and the only question I find myself asking is why the hell these guys haven’t been in my life until now.

When I waltzed in they were already on Too Bad Son which sounds incredible in such a huge room as opposed to me screaming at the top of my lungs as I hurtle down the M6 in the hope of catching them - I’m sure any speeding fine will be totally worth it!

Neil and Ryan make an effort to interact with the crowd in between songs which the kids love, and judging by the chaotic reaction they make an appearance at the merch stand - they clearly impressed more than just myself and my photographer Danny!

Despite me missing most of their set (because of stupid rush hour traffic) I can honestly say that everything in the album review is totally justified but to really appreciate these guys you just have to check them out live because it will blow your woolly little socks right off - and their serious good looks are good enough to melt any heart!

Keep a lookout for our interview with the lovely Neil and Ryan early next week or check out our review of their albumhere.
