After chatting to the boys in You Me At Six earlier in the day, I felt like a proud parent watching them do their stuff on 'the big stage' like true rockstars. They are a band that I have followed since their early days, and to see them making the leap from tiny venues in Manchester to Radio One and the main stage at Leeds Festival makes me feel very humble, as I am sure many of their other fans agree.
Their set was epic - as usual - and songs such as Gossip, Save It For The Bedroom and The Rumour from Take Off Your Colours went down just as well as their more recent and well-known hits, Underdog and Liquid Confidence from Hold Me Down.
I was once again stood on my own singing my little lungs out, but it was such a privilege to see five guys who really deserve their success owning the main stage as they did. Kudos goes out to them for that.
Did you catch the boys? What was your favourite track?
