I'd looked forward to seeing All Time Low ever since I found out they were on the bill, so I was rather unimpressed when I heard they'd started playing mid-way through yet another interview and tried to focus on my band in hand whilst training one ear over the fence and onto the main stage.
By the time I made it to the growing crowd they were already on their third song but I quickly dropped my bag and brolly on the floor and started dancing around like a maniac. I think a lot of people must have wondered where I'd come from, this girl on her own waving her arms around and dancing like a bit of a loon, but who cares.
Playing tracks from their entire back catalogue, the boys from Baltimore did themselves proud but it was hits from their latest album, Nothing Personal, which went down best with the people around me, with the singles Weightless, Break Your Little Heart, Damned If I Do Ya (Damned If I Don't) and Lost in Stereo drawing in huge crowd reactions, mainly thanks to their extensive Radio One airplay.
Whilst the people around me were probably glad to see the back of the singing cat with the Blackberry clutched in her hand, all I can say is that the boys deserved much longer than their allocated 40 minutes, but it was SO good to see them in control of the main stage like that.
