Finally the wait is over, Chase and Status’ second album is out this month and this electronic production duo is set to make their mark on the music world in 2011.
The album contains their new single Blind Faith featuring rising star Liam Bailey, which is out January 24. It also includes Let You Go, featuring Mali and the top ten smash hit End Credits featuring Plan B.
Chase and Status last single from the album, Hypest Hype featuring Tempa T, was released as a free download last week. It was described by the Guardian Guide as the ‘best thing I’ve heard this decade’ and received over 50,000 downloads in its first week.
No More Idols sees the pair team up with the likes of, Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, White Lies, Cee-Lo Green and a second track with Plan B.
Chase and Status released their Gold debut album More Than A Lot in October 2008 and since then have been touring constantly. In 2010 the pair had two sold out tours and headlined many of the UK festivals and Europe’s major festivals.
The London based duo won a Q Award for Best Video and have been nominated for Critics Choice Festival Headliner at the UK Festival Awards.
The album release will be followed by the No More Idols Tour, kicking off in Southampton on March 9.
