The Game has returned in fine form, with a UK Top Ten album (LAX) under his belt he now gets set to release his first new single from it. My Life featuring Lil Wayne will be out on October 20th through Geffen/Interscope Records.

My Life was produced by Cool and Dre and features Lil Wayne’s crazy wordplay and trademark auto-tune hook which combine with the storyteller flow only The Game does best. The song uses an awesome sample from the Birdman tune ‘So Tired’ as a backdrop giving it a real finger in the sky element.

The Game describes his new album as “highly controversial” and “addressing real issues that other artists might be scared to talk about on record; issues that need to be heard”. Along with the aforementioned hit producers, the album features guest appearances from Keyshia Cole, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, Common, Bilal and Ice Cube.

The Game is one of hip hop’s most successful artists with two #1 US albums (‘The Documentary’ and ‘Doctor’s Advocate’) under his belt. His albums have sold a total of half a million In the UK, and netted him worldwide sales of seven million.

My Life is available on CD and digitally through Geffen/Interscope Records on October 20th.
