Tinchy Strider
In July 2009 Star in the Hood and ‘Prince of Grime’ Tinchy Stryder, will be playing his first headline dates in Birmingham Academy 2 and Manchester Club Academy, (see overleaf for full details).
Tinchy Stryder has already built a dedicated and diverse live following after supporting on tour artists ranging from Jack Penate through to Akon to N-Dubz. In addition to these two headline dates, Tinchy Stryder will also be performing at a number of festivals over the summer, including Glastonbury, V Festival and Bestival.
Following the success of smash hit singles ‘Number 1’ which is currently topping the charts at Number 1 (the first UK single with no. 1 in the title to actually go to no. 1) and predecessor ‘Take Me Back’ (which stayed in the top 5 of the UK charts for over a month), Tinchy Stryder is now gearing up for the release of his forthcoming album ‘Catch 22’, due out July 27th on Island Records.
