The Game has settled a civil lawsuit stemming from a 2007 allegation of assault.
The Dreams hitmaker, real name Jayceon Taylor, served eight days in prison after pleading no contest to a charge of possession of a firearm in a school zone following an altercation on a Los Angeles basketball court. He was also ordered to complete community service.
His legal troubles continued when he was slapped with a civil court lawsuit by basketball coach Shannon Rodrick, who accused the hip-hop star of punching and threatening him during the incident.
Rodrick filed suit in March 2008 for $1.5 million (£937,500) in compensation - but The Game has now come to a financial agreement with the sports coach, three years after they clashed.
However, the terms of the settlement have not been made public.
