A necklace Snoop Dogg wore with pride was confiscated at Beirut International Airport in the Lebanon earlier this week after customs officials discovered the pendant contained a bullet.
The rapper was returning to the U.S. after his first Middle East concert at the Forum de Beyrouth when airport security staff refused to let him board his plane with his controversial jewellery item.
Ironically, the diamond studded bullet around his neck, was a peace symbol Snoop picked up from charity Bullets 4 Peace, a socially conscious jewellery line. It's not the first time the rapper has upset customs officials at airports - The Gin & Juice hitmaker was arrested at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California in 2006 for trying to board a plane with a collapsible baton. He pleaded no contest to felony gun and drug charges in April 2007.
Snoop was also banned from Britain in 2006 following a fight at Heathrow Airport in London.
