New York rapper Necro has been forced to hand over $3,000 to Australian authorities after he was fined for assaulting a man while on tour Down Under.
The up-and-coming star, real name Ron Braunstein, was arrested in Perth on Thursday morning following a punch-up with a local man whose identity has not been released.
The altercation occurred after the male accused Necro of eyeing him menacingly, before confronting the rapper, leading to the beat down. The man was left with a fractured cheekbone.
Necro appeared in court on Friday to face charges for the assault, when he was let off with a fine, as a result of his arrest, the MC was forced to cancel a concert at the Hyde Park Hotel in the city on Thursday night, although he resumed his tour in Adelaide on Friday night.
