Rapper N.O.R.E. has been charged with misdemeanor battery and disorderly conduct after he was arrested for allegedly causing a disruption at a Miami, Florida restaurant.
The Nothin' MC, real name Victor Santiago, was taken into custody at the Miami-Dade county jail early on Sunday following a heated row with another patron at local restaurant, Fatburger, according to police.
Cops were called after the 31-year-old reportedly began yelling at another customer, threw a cup filled with a yellow liquid at the patron and ripped up a bouquet of flowers. According to authorities, the rapper punched the man in the face, yelling, "Do you know who I am?"
Santiago had been released from custody as we went to press. It is not immediately clear whether he has retained a lawyer.
