Fat Joe Defends himself
In an ongoing feud between Terror Squad head honcho and the wife of the late Big Pun who died from a heart attack in 1999, Fat Joe finally spoke out about the financial issues surrounding the Bronx rappers later widow.
Calling into a NY radio station, Fat Joe explained the situation between himself and Liza Rios who has, on many times, accused Fat Joe of failing to take care of her and her family since her husbands passing.
Rios has since the death of Pun, the first Latino rapper to sell over a million records with one album, cited him as an animal and even posted a video of him assaulting her on the internet which has angered Fat Joe, who allegedly gave her the money to set herself up in business when Pun died.
"How could expect to live off of Big Pun's name, being his wife, and you putting out DVDs of him pistol whipping you and you calling him an animal, calling him a beast. This is the problem I have with Liza Rios. At the same time she's saying 'I'm Pun's wife, take care of me,' she's basically disrespecting his legacy.' "
Fat Joe and Big Pun were the founding members of the Bronx crew, Terror Squad which Fat Joe now heads up.
