In today’s daily rap, Waka Flocka Flame’s gig turns into a firefight and J-Kwon is upset by disappearance reports.
FLAME'S INDIANA GIG TURNS INTO GANG GUNFIGHT
Rapper Waka Flocka Flame’s concert in Indiana on Friday night almost turned deadly as rival gangs started shooting at each other just as the show began.
Police in Michael Jackson's native Gary, Indiana raced to World of Skates after learning gunshots had been fired at the venue.
The melee left eight teenagers shot and injured. Reports suggest the fight started after an unidentified man took to the stage before Flame's set and poked fun at the city's rival gangs.
Flame hit the headlines in January after he survived a shooting. He has since claimed he was targeted by a hitman.
J-KWON UPSET OVER DISAPPEARANCE REPORTS
Rapper J-Kwon is upset about the media fuss caused by his recent 'disappearance' - because he feels sorry for the scores of families who are really searching for missing relatives.
Executives at Gracie Productions issued a public plea for help on Wednesday, alleging the Tipsy hitmaker had not been seen by his loved ones since the beginning of February.
But J-Kwon, real name Jarrell Jones, claims he had no idea about the search until he received concerned calls from friends, and he's frustrated by critics' claims the incident was a publicity stunt, insisting he wasn't looking for attention.
He tells FemaleFirst; "Things get taken out of hand. On top of that, there are other families that are really missing people and my heart goes out to them. I'm not trying to promote anything. I just prayed about it and moved on."
