New mum M.I.A. has given a British politician a boost by offering those who vote for her a free song.
The outspoken pop star is offering fans who vote for independent candidate Jan Jananayagam to join the European Parliament the chance to download a new tune for free.
In a post on her MySpace.com blog, the hitmaker writes, "Vote for Jan Jana!!! And I'll give you a free song!"
Brits have until 4 June to cast their votes for Jananayagam.
