Rap superstar Jay-Z stunned concert goers in New Jersey on Sunday when he made a surprise appearance at the annual Summer Jam event to debut his new song.
The hip-hop icon - who was not listed on the bill of performers for the gig held by New York radio station Hot 97 - sent the crowd in East Rutherford, New Jersey into a screaming frenzy when he stepped out to join Young Jeezy on stage for a remix of Put On.
But Jay-Z commanded fans' full attention when he played his brand new track D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune) live for the first time at the show, just two days after premiering the tune from his highly-anticipated Blueprint 3 album on Hot 97.
The Big Pimpin' hitmaker wasn't the only surprise guest at the concert - Busta Rhymes joined Jadakiss on stage for his set, while Lil' Kim, Method Man and Redman made appearances during headliner Mary J. Blige's performance.
