Jay-Z will commemorate the eighth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York City by performing at Madison Square Garden.
The date also coincides with the release of his new album The Blueprint 3.
The New York Times reports the concert will raise money for the New York Police and Fire Widows' and Children's Benefit Fund, a charity created to support the families of police officers and firefighters who have died in the line of duty.
Nice to see that some celebrities still do things for the greater good.
