50 Cent's G-Unit bandmates Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo have assured fans their latest albums are back on track after signing a new deal with record label giant EMI.
The hip-hop stars have been without a home since leaving Interscope Records - where they were label mates with 50, Eminem and Dr. Dre - last year, but the duo has now signed a distribution and marketing deal with EMI Label Services.
The deal comes as Banks prepares to release his new album, The Hunger For More 2, on 23 November. Yayo's record is expected to hit shelves in early 2011.
Confirming the news, Banks says: "I just came out of a situation with Interscope, and being there for years and knowing what it feels like to go through the shakiness in the system when priorities get shuffled. So, not really excited to jump into a situation where I have a requirement for a few albums.
"It's refreshing to see the EMI staff excited about my project. They have the passion and energy I haven't seen in a while."
