Looks like Busta Rhymes might be having a great time on the road but he is feeling the pinch regardless, Fat Joe fails to make an impression with his recent album, Soulja Boy not only faces trouble with the police but also his letting agents and the Donda West Law is finally passed in Los Angeles.
Busta Fined
While out on the road promoting his recent release Back on my B.S, Busta Rhymes has been hit with a hefty fine of $75,000 after he allegedly assaulted an audience member at a 2003 concert at SUNY in Albany, New York.
The victim, Alex Smith, claims he suffered from psychological and physical injuries from the attack where Busta, born Trevor Smith and a bodyguard were said to have sprayed water, beat and kicked him.
Fat Joe Flops
Terror Squad head honcho Fat Joe has failed to make a serious impression with his latest album J.O.S.E 2 with the album only selling 8,300 copies in its first week.
The rapper who has openly battled with 50 Cent over the last five years released this, his ninth studio album, through Imperial Records to whom he has been signed since departing from Atlantic Records in early 2006.
The album which is the second part of the platinum selling 2001 J.O.S.E features production from Ron Browz Jim Jonsin and appearances from Lil Kim and T Pain.
More Trouble for Soulja Boy
After being arrested in Atlanta last week after a fracas at a video shoot, it is looking like Soulja Boy might have a few issues to deal with further to home.
The rapper has got into some hot water with the letting agents of his apartment in los Angeles for having too many disruptive guests at the expensive complex where he resides whilst in the West Coast capital.
Not only have guests been out staying their welcome but it turns out that the company are looking for almost $10,000 in back rent from the rapper.
Donda West Law is Official
The law put in place after the tragic death of Kanye West’s mother, Dr. Donda West, has now been officially passed.
The Donda West Law states that in the state of California, before anyone can proceed with any form of plastic surgery, they must have written clearance from their own GP and have gone through various health checks.
Dr. West died after a plastic surgery procedure in 2007 after her surgeon failed to ensure that she was in a healthy state to progress with such an operation.
