Jacob the Jeweler Surrenders Cash
Stemming from his involvement with the Black Family Mafia which saw the notorious Hip-Hop jeweler found guilty in 2006 and sentenced to 30 months in prison, the Manhattan businessman recently surrendered $1.6 million in accordance with the plea deal he struck up with authorities.
The money which will be shared between various townships and cities throughout Michigan, benefitting their law enforcement divisions for all the work they conducted in bringing all the key players in the BFM to trial.
Game verbally attacks Jay Z...again
Now he has waved the peace flag in the face of long time nemesis 50 Cent, the Game who is currently on the European leg of his tour is firing shots at Brooklyn mainstay Jay Z.
In a concert in France and in Spain, Geffen recording artist Game, responded to a line in a recent freestyle released by Jay Z which mentions his name.
There have been insinuations flying for the last year that Game was looking to battle Jay Z lyrically yet until recently there has never been any firm foundations upon which to build on.
However after recent performances where Game has encouraged the crowd to join him in chanting derogatory comments about Jay Z. No comment has been made in regards to this public onslaught by Jay Z or his team of representatives.
Lil Wayne Sued yet again
Failing to appear at a concert in the Bahamas which was scheduled on the weekend of his 26th birthday may have cost Lil Wayne over half a million dollars.
The rapper is being sued by Red City Entertainment after he failed to perform having fallen asleep in a hotel room paid for by the plaintiffs.
The New Orleans rapper had been given an advance of $210,000 for his performance which was costing the company $432,000 in total.
No response has been made by Cash Money who Lil Wayne is signed too.
