Bow Wow Blamed
Rapper Bow Wow has been making headlines lately for a variety of reasons, but this one is not one the rapper should be proud of. Apparently a roller rink in Massachusetts is struggling financially due to the rapper failing to perform as scheduled at an event put on at the Chez Vous rink.
Due to the stars decision not to perform, the rink’s owner had to refund 500 people their ticket money which has forced Greer Toney to defer on mortgage payments on the building which has been in existence since 1932.
Bow Wow who was paid an advance to perform at the event has yet to comment.
Eminem’s Brother Charged
The younger brother of Eminem, Nate Mathers was charged with drunk driving this week in a suburb of his home city, Detroit. Twice over the legal limit, Mathers was released on $10,000 bail.
This is his second offence at failing sobriety tests when driving.
Nate Dogg Charges Dropped
The stalking charges brought against West Coast singer Nate Dogg have been dropped after courts failed to here from Nate Doggs estranged wife who filed the charges in the first place. Nate, born Nathaniel Hale, was arrested for following his wife on a highway in their home state of California as well as sending threatening e mails.
Nate who suffered a stroke in 2007 had pleaded not guilty to the charges brought against him.
Rick Ross and Asher Roth Suffer
The negative side of the internet has unfortunately interfered with two of the most talked about rappers today it has been revealed.
Albums from Def Jam rapper Rick Ross and SRC signee Asher Roth leaked to the internet this week. Both albums due next week are highly anticipated. Deeper than Rap from Rick Ross which features appearances by Nas, the Dream, Ne-Yo, Lil Wayne and more has been in the midst of his highly charged public battle with 50 Cent. It is his third solo release.
The debut from Pennsylvania native Asher Roth, Asleep in the Bread Aisle has garnered exceptional reviews from critics and features songstress Keri Hilson and Cee- Lo with production from Don Cannon. Both artists are said to be taking the leak in their stride and are taking considerable measures to combat the loss from such a leak.
