Eminem’s comeback single has broken download records in America to soar to the top of the singles chart.

The rapper's Bottle will officially take the number one spot on Thursday after jumping up the countdown from last week's number 78.

The track has scored 418,000 download sales in a week, beating out the previous record of 335,000 set last year by T.I. and Rihanna's Live Your Life.

Eminem last hit the top spot on the U.S. charts with Lose Yourself, which spent 12 weeks at number one in 2002. Bottle also features Eminem's longtime collaborators 50 Cent and Dr. Dre.
