Ludacris Hand-Blends His Conjure Cognac
Ludacris made sure his new brandy was perfect by visiting the experts in Cognac, France and hand-blending the beverage himself.
The rapper/actor flew to France to meet the family behind his new Conjure cognac - and agreed to be part of the selection process.
He says, "Their family has been in business since 1887. We blended this thing... there's about 13 different cognacs I had to choose from."
And Ludacris, real name Chris Bridges, admits he picked the finest blends: "You're getting a better quality product for a great price, especially in times like this... The product speaks for itself."
And the rap star is very particular how he drinks his cognac: "We get straight to it; we're straight no chaser... I might put a little lime in there but I like mine just on the rocks. You've gotta taste the essence of what's going on."
Timberlake Teams Up With Timbaland For Hollywood Gig
Justin Timberlake stunned fans in Los Angeles on Friday (29Jan10) night by jumping on stage at a TIMBALAND gig to perform a surprise set.
The pop star has teamed up with the superproducer for a string of hit tracks over the years, and he repaid the favour by turning out to support his pal when he played at the House of Blues club in Hollywood on Friday.
Timbaland put on a star-studded show with guest appearances from rappers Drake and The Game, as well as singer Brandy.
But the surprise of the night came at the end of the show when Timberlake jumped on stage to join his friend for their collaboration, Carry Out. They went on to thrill the crowd with a series of Timberlake's hits including SexyBack, My Love and LoveStoned from his 2006 album FutureSex/LoveSounds.
Rev Run To Marry A Couple On St. Valentine's Day
Hip-Hop Icon Joseph 'Rev Run' Simmons has offered to wed one lucky couple on St. Valentine's Day (14Feb10).
The Run-D.M.C. star, who was ordained a minister in 1995, has offered up his religious services as part of the Rock 'n' Roll Wedding Contest run by U.S. events company Borgata Nightlife.
Competitors are required to submit their love stories online for the opportunity to have Simmons conduct their nuptials on the most romantic day of the year.
The winners will also be treated to a concert by Kid Rock and the bride's bachelorette party will feature Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson as a guest DJ.
