Rapper and actor Common made money as a kid selling basketball legend Michael Jordan’s forged autograph to his friends.
Growing up in Chicago, Illinois, the star landed a part time job working as a ball boy for Jordan's Chicago Bulls team, and used his influence to make a little extra cash.
But the sideline backfired when he couldn't track down Jordan and was forced to fake the icon's signature.
Common - who is dating tennis champ Serena Williams - tells New York magazine, "I had to work my own hustle.I told a friend I'd get Michael's autograph for $5. But then I couldn't find Michael, so I just signed it. My friend looked at it and said, 'You spelled Michael wrong.' I totally played myself."
