Chris Brown stunned clubbers in Los Angeles on Tuesday night by performing an impromptu song-and-dance tribute to Michael Jackson - just hours after he was sentenced for his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
The Kiss Kiss singer was given five years probation and six months of community labour following his February bust up with the Umbrella hitmaker, but he followed up the hearing with a night out at West Hollywood hotspot Guys and Dolls, where he grabbed the mic during Jackson's hit Dirty Diana and told the crowd: "There was only one King of Pop. We love you, Michael."
Brown is due to report to probation 72 hours after Tuesday's hearing and has been ordered to stay away from Rihanna until his probation period is over. Brown will be subject to random searches and seizures during his sentence, must attend a year of domestic-abuse counselling and pay numerous fees and fines.
Well, we’re glad to see you getting back on your feet Chris.
