A judge has commended disgraced R&B star Chris Brown's efforts to fulfil the terms of his sentence for assaulting ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg requested a hearing with the singer and his attorney in a Los Angeles court to check on the community work she sentenced him to carry out last year.
Thursday's progress hearing lasted less then two minutes and concluded with the judge telling the 20 year old, "It looks like you are doing really, really well."
In court, Schnegg revealed Brown had worked off 32 of the 180 days of hard labour he had been ordered to carry out as part of his sentencing for lashing out at Umbrella singer Rihanna during a row a year ago, and the singer had also completed a third of the domestic violence classes he was told to take.
Impressed Schnegg said, "You haven’t missed one. You are participating and doing a very good job."
